Butker recently spoken to EWTN’s Mark Irons as part of the EWTN News In Depth. Irons asked the Super Bowl champion what it was like for him the past few months amidst the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce craze. The Kansas City Chiefs kicker shared his two cents on the matter saying:
“I wouldn’t say I’m a Swiftie, She was just so humble and so gracious.”
Butker then mentioned to Irons that the Bad Blood singer was impressed by his skill on the field. Butker explained that Swift thought it was amazing that he could kick the ball so far through the uprights.
To top off his admiration for the Cruel Summer artist, he expressed his approval for her and Travis Kelce’s relationship. Butker even went so far as to suggest that their relationship should progress to the point where they get married.

Harrison Butker has claimed he may be a Swiftie after his first meeting with Taylor Swift, despite initially claiming he was not.
The Kansas City Chiefs kicker then reflected on his initial meeting with her and changed his mind about being a Swiftie, claiming he was nervous about meeting Taylor Swift:
“I was a little nervous to meet Taylor Swift—I mean, it’s Taylor Swift, So maybe I am a Swiftie, if I was nervous to meet her. But it was a great experience, and I can’t say enough great things about her.”
