The chapter’s cover story shows Yamato traveling within Wano.
We see some of the characters’ reactions after seeing black lightning. Meanwhile, the Pacifistas and the giants are still destroying the Marine ships.
The Five Elders’ room at Mary Geoise is empty. There’s a large burning magical circle on the floor and seven minutes remain until Vegapunk’s message.
The rest of the Gorosei (Five Elders) arrive, surprising Luffy. They are immediately in their animal forms and in their awakened Devil Fruit state with black clouds surrounding them. We’ll see their names and what their beast or yokai title is.
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro resembles a skeleton horse. Saint Topman Warcury looks like a giant boar with four tusks. Saint Shepherd Ju Peter appears to be a giant worm-like monster. Meanwhile, Saint Marcus Mars resembles a giant bird.
Nusjuro uses his ability to locate one of the Pacifistas. He switches to his hybrid form, which looks like a centaur. He goes around the island destroying half of the Pacifistas within seconds. Mars flies and attacks the Labophase barrier, but the barrier still stands. While Luffy and Saturn are fighting, Ju Peter goes underground.
Elsewhere, Usopp makes a bamboo barrier around the Thousand Sunny. Sanji calls the rest using the Den Den Mushi (Transponder Snail), saying they need to escape now. Jinbei goes to Zoro and Lucci, and he tells Sanji that they’re still fighting.
Sanji wonders why the fight isn’t over and calls Zoro a burden. Zoro overhears and attacks Lucci with a new technique. There’s black lightning around Zoro.
Ju Peter appears below Luffy and eats him, but Dorry and Brogy show up too. They cut off Ju Peter’s head, freeing Luffy.
The series will not be on break next week.
It looks like we’re finally getting the long-awaited reunion of Luffy, Dorry, and Brogy. The story is setting up yet another epic battle.
