Will There Be a Cold Justice Season 8 Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

Since the seventh season dropped, fans have been curious about the Cold Justice Season 8 release date. Produced by Dick Wolf, Cold Justice is a true crime investigation series. It revolves around Kelly Siegler, former Harris County, Texas, prosecutor, and her team as they look into old and unsolved cases. The series premiered on TNT on September 3, 2013. Following its cancellation after three seasons, Cold Justice shifted to Oxygen. Season 7 debuted on February 24, 2024.

Here’s all the Cold Justice Season 8 release date information we know so far, and all the details on when it is coming out.

Is there a Cold Justice Season 8 release date?

Cold Justice Season 8 has no official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.

As of February 2024, Oxygen hasn’t renewed Cold Justice for the eighth season. Given that season 7 just premiered, this is not unexpected. Oxygen will likely assess how the audience responds to it before deciding anything. As mentioned above, the series originally aired on TNT until its cancellation after season 3. It’s safe to assume that Oxygen picked it up because they saw potential in this Dick Wolf project. As seasons 5 and 6 have 26 and 24 episodes, respectively, the network was happy with how the fourth and fifth seasons performed. In comparison, season 4 only has 10 episodes. So, unless something drastic happens, Cold Justice will probably receive a renewal for season 6 at some point in the future.

The cast includes Kelly Siegler, Yolanda McClary, Johnny Bonds, Steve Spingola, Aaron Sam, Tonya Rider, and more.

Where is Cold Justice Season 8 coming out?

Cold Justice Season 8 could come out on Oxygen.

This is because the network has been the home to Cold Justice since season 4. ComingSoon will provide an update if and when there is an official confirmation about season 8.

The official synopsis for Cold Justice reads:

“From Executive Producer Dick Wolf, this true crime investigative series follows veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler, and her rotating team of seasoned detectives, as they travel to small towns across the country and help local law-enforcement agencies dig into unsolved homicide cases that have lingered for years without answers or justice for the victims due to lack of funding and proper forensic technology.”
