“One of the benefits of doing a period project is that you have every single day of history on your side,” the actor said. “Having built our world correctly, incorporating just enough of the fantastical and humor, we are able to benefit from any historical event or person that just might have traveled through Victorian era Toronto.”
Bisson also spoke on the longevity of the series, and the role CBC played in that. If everything goes well and Season 17 manages to replicate the success of Season 16, Season 18 will most likely happen.
