Dune 2: Does It Have an End-Credits or Post-Credits Scene?

Moving into Dune 2, fans wish to know if they should stick around in the theaters when the final credits begin to roll. Does Dune: Part Two have an end credits scene to set up the future? Here’s all you need to know.

Does Dune 2 have a post-credits or an end-credits scene?

There are no mid-credits or end-credits scenes in Dune: Part Two.

Post-credits scenes have become a norm for big-budget blockbusters. Major credit for it goes to the MCU as people walking into any event film expect to see another tease after the credits start to roll.

While Dune: Part Two has already got rave reviews, fans want to know if there’s an end credits scene setting up the third movie. Part 3 could happen depending on how much the second film makes at the box office. But the recent world premiere has confirmed there’s no scene after the credits walking us into the threequel.

Furthermore, director Denis Villeneuve previously stated that he isn’t fond of keeping post-credits scenes in his films. In an interview with NME back in 2021, he said:

“I don’t like post-credits scenes. There is a very specific final emotion that I was looking for with the final frame [of ‘Dune’] and I don’t want to mess with that. So no, I don’t use post-credits scenes. I’ve never done that and I would never.”

Hence, both Blade Runner 2049 and Dune didn’t have any scenes playing after the credits and neither does Dune: Part Two. So, you could sit around, listen to the score, and grasp what happened in the movie while going through the names involved in making the film, but don’t expect a scene between or after the credits.
