When is the predicted Lisa Frankenstein streaming release date?

The Lisa Frankenstein release date could be early-to-mid 2024.

Lisa Frankenstein premiered in the US theaters on February 9, 2024. Focus Features has the US distribution rights to the film. Given the precedence of the streaming releases of its previous projects, it can be speculated that Lisa Frankenstein can start streaming sometime in early-to-mid 2024.

Set in 1989, Lisa Frankenstein revolves around Lisa Swallows, a young woman dealing with her mother’s death, the verbal abuse of her father’s new wife, and the trauma of sexual assault by a classmate. Things take an unexpected turn when Lisa inadvertently resurrects a Victorian man as a zombie, who starts killing people who wronged the former.

The cast includes Kathryn Newton as Lisa Swallows, Cole Sprouse as The Creature, Liza Soberano as Taffy Swallows, Henry Eikenberry as Michael Trent, Joe Chrest as Dale Swallows, Carla Gugino as Janet Swallows, and more.

Is Lisa Frankenstein coming out on Peacock?

Lisa Frankenstein will be available to watch via streaming on Peacock.

As mentioned above, Focus Features, a division of Universal Pictures, has the US distribution rights to Lisa Frankenstein. So, it’s safe to presume that the film will make its streaming debut on Peacock. Four months after that, Lisa Frankenstein will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video because of the 2021 deal between Amazon and Universal.

Current Peacock subscribers will be able to watch the film when it airs. The streaming service offers two options to its prospective subscribers. The Premium plan costs $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year, and the Premium Plus costs $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year.

Lisa Frankenstein’s official synopsis reads:

“In 1989, a misunderstood teenager has a high school crush — who just happens to be a handsome corpse! After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness…and a few missing body parts along the way.”
