Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Freevee’s new TV and movie releases for January 29 – February 4, 2024, include Donald Glover and Maya Erskine’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, The Edge of Seventeen, and Pokemon: Detective Pikachu.
On February 2, viewers can catch Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a spy comedy series starring Donald Glover (who also co-created the series with Francesca Sloane) and Maya Erskine. It’s based on the 2005 film of the same name starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The story follows two spies who are paired up together to impersonate a married couple named John and Jane Smith.
Other releases during this week include the Julia Roberts movie Eat Pray Love, a biographical romantic drama based on the memoir of Elizabeth Gilbert, who Roberts plays in the film. There’s also Pokemon: Detective Pikachu, a fantasy comedy film based on the Pokemon franchise with Ryan Reynolds voicing the title character.
