The viral trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is not real as the film is not in development yet.

Foxstar Media‘s YouTube channel released a trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 in September 2023. The trailer got 68 thousand views and teased a franchise reboot featuring Johnny Depp. But despite its popularity, fans can be sure that the trailer is fake. Foxstar Media is known for its fan-made trailers and the aforementioned montage is just another example of that.  

Is the poster for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 real or fake?

The poster for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 in 2025 is fake. The movie isn’t slated to be coming out at the moment.

Besides the trailer, another poster for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 featuring Johnny Depp has also gone viral, particularly on Facebook. According to the poster, the movie is titled “Pirates of the Caribbean: Demons of the Corsair,” and also brings back Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa in 2025.

Along with the poster, a potential synopsis for the film states that it will feature “heart-stopping action, treacherous waters, and supernatural encounters.” But unfortunately for the fans who are longing for another installment, the poster is not official!

Even though Johnny Depp is willing to return, according to recent rumors, Pirates of The Caribbean 6 hasn’t been officially put into development.
