After reports of a Naruto live-action movie being developed by Lionsgate hit the web, fans are curious to know whether actors have been cast in the film.
Which actors are in the Naruto live-action movie cast?
As of this writing, no actor has been officially cast for any role in the Naruto live-action movie.
However, DanielRPK, a reliable scooper and industry insider, suggested via his Patreon that Japanese actor Ken Watanabe was in talks to play one of Naruto’s school teachers. Although the name of the teacher character was not revealed, Watanabe was very likely in talks to play the Third Hokage and one of Naruto’s teachers, Hiruzen Sarutobi. The likeliness of Watanabe portraying Sarutobi is because he is 64 years old, the same age as Hiruzen in the Naruto anime and manga.
Although the official casting for the core characters, namely Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, and supporting characters, namely Shikamaru, Konohamaru, and Iruka, is yet to take place, some fans have already put up fan casts on the web, for instance, a user on iMDb has put up a list of actors they thinkswould fit the roles of certain characters well:
