Viewers of the Indian biographical drama series Rocket Boys have been wondering whether or not the show would get a third season ever since the second season premiered in bulk on 16 March 2023.

However, producers Nikhil Advani and Siddharth Roy Kapur have teased that a potential third season would revolve around a new generation of scientists in an interview with Deadline. They also mentioned that they will discuss the renewal with SonyLIV when they feel the time is right.
Moreover, Advani revealed in an interview with Variety that he and Kapur have discussed making a third season, but only during what he claims are “moments of weakness.
So, from Advani’s statements, we can conclude that a third season is in the cards but that it will not be happening anytime soon.
