Paramount Plus‘ new TV and movie releases for October 16-22 include Vindicta, the documentary series Crush, and Jason Statham’s Homefront.
Starting on October 16, viewers can start streaming Vindicta, a suspense-horror series that revolves around a seasoned detective and a rookie paramedic who are both forced into a deadly game of vengeance when a city is terrorized by a sadistic serial killer. The detective and paramedic soon learn that the key to stopping the killer’s madness is unlocking the truth behind their own pasts. The series stars Elena Kampouris, Jeremy Piven, Sean Astin, Travis Nelson, Bradley Stryker, Jamie M. Callica, and Daniel Cudmore in the lead roles.
Then on October 17, viewers can start streaming the Korean documentary series, Crush. This documentary will unveil what happened on the night when an ordinary Halloween celebration turned into a horrendous nightmare that saw the death of 159 people, including two Americans who were studying abroad.
Finally, on October 18, viewers can stream Homefront. This action-thriller stars Jason Statham as a former DEA agent, who after having retired from a dangerous high-stakes life is pulled back into it after his daughter inadvertently gets into the crosshairs of a local meth drug lord. Other cast members include James Franco and Winona Ryder.
