The Last Voyage of the Demeter Delayed or Banned: When Is It Coming Out in Europe?

Moviegoers wondering if The Last Voyage of the Demeter has been delayed or banned in some European countries, as well as India, will find the latest information here.

Has The Last Voyage of the Demeter been delayed or banned in Europe?

The Last Voyage of the Demeter has been delayed in multiple European countries.

While some movies are sometimes banned from being shown in certain countries, like Barbie in Algeria, this is not the case for The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Instead, it has been delayed indefinitely.

Why has The Last Voyage of the Demeter been delayed in Europe?

The Last Voyage of the Demeter has been delayed in multiple European countries due to the distributor no longer being in operation.

As CS reported earlier, U.K. distributor eOne announced that it was ending all operations in the country. It was then confirmed that Lionsgate would be purchasing eOne from Lionsgate for $500 million.

It seems that this change occurred quickly and with little warning, as there is clearly no plan in place to change distributors for U.K. cinemas.

Italy is also affected, as is India.

When is the new The Last Voyage of the Demeter release date for Europe?

At the time of writing, The Last Voyage of the Demeter has been delayed indefinitely, meaning that there is no confirmed new release date.

While it’s possible that a distributor will be found to supply the movie to cinemas located in the U.K. and other affected countries, it’s just as likely that the movie will skip a theatrical release in those countries and instead opt to go straight to streaming.

If a new release date is confirmed, ComingSoon will surely report on it.
