Westworld, the dystopian science fiction series, completed its fourth season on August 14, 2022. Since then, fans have been wondering about the status of Westworld Season 5 and whether or not it will arrive on HBO and DirectTV.

Unfortunately, Westworld Season 5 does not have a release date.
Westworld Season 5 has no release date because HBO canceled it in November last year. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy had planned a fifth and final season for Westworld and were in negotiations with HBO to air it before its cancellation.
The story of Westworld is set in a technologically advanced wild-west-themed amusement park populated by android hosts. The park caters to high-paying guests who engage in their wildest fantasies within the park without fear of retaliation from the android hosts, who are programmed to view the guests as harmless. Later episodes of Westworld expand the story setting to the real world in the mid-21st century, where a powerful artificial intelligence named Rehoboam controls and drives the lives of all humans.
Westworld stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Ed Harris, Luke Hemsworth, James Marsden, Angela Sarafyan, and Rodrigo Santoro, among other cast members.
Where is Westworld Season 5 coming out?
As HBO has canceled Westworld, a fifth season will not be happening. It will also not drop on DirectTV, where the first four seasons of Westworld are currently streaming.
