Bandai Namco has revealed the Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs release date, and it’s set to arrive next month. Those who preorder the Deluxe Edition will get seven days of early access to the online-only 64-player Pac-Man game as well as several other in-game goodies.

Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs will be released on May 9 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can access the game on May 2.
The game will come in two editions: standard and Deluxe. As well as seven days of early access, the Deluxe Edition edition includes the following extra in-game content:
- Lunar Animals PAC – includes Mouse body, Cow body, Tiger body, Bunny body, Dragon body, Snake body, Horse body, Sheep body, Monkey body, Rooster body, Dog body, Pig body, and Lunar maze.
- Namco Pals PAC – includes Fyger body, The Prince body, Pooka’s Goggles face, Pooka’s Goggles – Rare face, Klonoa head, Dig Dug Helmet head, Dig Dug maze, Mr. Driller maze, Galaga maze, PAC-MAN 3D icon, Inky 3D icon, Blinky 3D icon, Pinky 3D icon, Clyde 3D icon, and Frightened Ghost 3D icon.
Those who preorder either edition of the game will also receive the Chomp Challengers PAC. This includes the Unicorn – Rare body, Crown head, Pompadour head, Punk head, Googly Glasses face, Retro Glasses face, and Cherry Chomp icon. Preorders are available right now.
Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is a 64-player battle royale where the aim is to eat through multiple interconnected mazes while chomping ghosts and other players. Mazes gradually disappear over time, reducing the play area and bringing players together. Cross-platform multiplayer is available on all platforms so players can take on friends and family wherever they are.
