Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles has detailed a DLC character pack that is set to release sometime in the summer, and features a variety of characters, including Tengen Uzui. The Additional Character Pack DLC will land on every available platform (Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam) that the game supports.

The Additional Character Pack will be a series of paid DLC that adds seven total characters into the game, a majority of which stem from the Entertainment District Arc of Demon Slayer. The first character being added into the game is Tengen Uzui, a major character in the Entertainment District Arc and a Sound Hashira (one of the highest-ranking combatants) in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Alongside Uzui, six more characters will also be added into the game for purchase in a series of periodic updates, including:
- Nezuko (Advanced Demon Form)
- Tanjiro (Entertainment District)
- Zenitsu (Entertainment District)
- Inosuke (Entertainment District)
- Daki
- Gyutaro
No information on just when the six additional characters will be made available was given, but Sega did note that they will keep players updated as they come out. It’s possible any of these future updates will include a price since one was not given.

Alongside the DLC, Sega also announced that pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version of Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles were live, with players who pre-order the Digital Edition receiving a ton of in-game bonuses, including:
- Full Game
- Five Kimetsu Academy Summer Uniform costumes (Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Giyu Tomioka)
- Three Butterfly Mansion Patient Wear costumes (Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira)
- One Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Key (Tanjiro Kamado)
- 16,000 Kimetsu Points
- Three bonus character unlock keys for Kimetsu Academy Nezuko, Kimetsu Academy Zenitsu, and Kimetsu Academy Inosuke
