Is the Demon Slayer manga finished?
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga finished serialization in May 2020.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a shonen series by Koyoharu Gotouge. Shueisha serialized the manga from February 2016 until May 2020 in their shonen magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump, while Viz Media handles the publishing of the English and North American releases.
The manga has a total of 23 volumes. Both Japanese and English volumes are complete and available. The series also has a couple of spin-offs revolving around characters like Giyu Tomioka and Kyojuro Rengoku. There are also three light novels.
Is the Demon Slayer anime over or will there be a new season?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is getting a Season 4, titled Hashira Training Arc, and is scheduled to premiere on May 12, 2024. It will be streaming on Crunchyroll as part of its spring 2024 lineup.
Ufotable produces the anime adaptation. The first season aired in April 2019, while the second season followed in October 2021. The second season had two parts, the Mugen Train arc and the Entertainment District arc. The third season aired in April 2023, following the Swordsmith Village arc, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train is a movie adaptation of the Mugen Train arc.
The series has compilation films of the Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training arcs, featuring the last two episodes of a season and an advanced screening of the following season. The Swordsmith Village movie included the last two episodes of the Entertainment District arc and the first Swordsmith Village arc. Meanwhile, the Hashira Training movie had the last two episodes of the Swordsmith Village arc and the first Hashira Training arc episode.
