The new trailer doesn’t reveal a whole lot in terms of new modes or what to expect, but it does showcase the thrill of hitting a home run, making an incredible play in the field, or turning a double play in the middle of a pressure-packed situation.

While it didn’t elaborate on any new content, the end of the trailer did include a brief look at legendary pitcher Randy Johnson. This is likely teasing his inclusion in MLB The Show‘s Diamond Dynasty card mode, as the mode frequently includes new legends from the sport every year, and Johnson has been notably missing from the game for some time.
