Much like the expansion’s title suggests, the game will take place in Siberia, with five new levels set in places ranging from large forests to abandoned villages. Also included in the expansion are new weapons including a crossbow, a snowmobile to ride across Russia on, and a brand-new mech to climb into and cause chaos with.

Alongside the new levels and weapons, Siberian Mayhem will also include new side-missions, secret areas, and enemies to take down in classic Serious Sam fashion. The expansion comes courtesy of Serious Sam creators Croteam and Timelock Studio, a development team that consists mainly of Serious Sam modders. The team began work on Siberian Mayhem as a mod, but it quickly grew and, with the help of Croteam, will now be an official release under the Serious Sam banner.
