In a new interview with Producer Harald Riegler, some new footage was shown off along with early character animation for characters like the iconic Gandalf the Wizard. During the game, players will utilize stealth, agility, and their wits to survive and overcome what lies ahead of them. As Gollum, you’ll be able to climb, leap, and grapple across a variety of terrain, and while he may not be a fighter, he’ll have his notoriously tricky moves available to help players stay alive in a world that is very unforgiving.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is an upcoming stealth-based action-adventure game is focused solely on the infamous Gollum, a creature driven by the desire to once again hold the One Ring in his hands once again. While he was extremely vital to J.R.R. Tolkien’s story, many parts of Gollum’s backstory and history have not been told yet. This game aims to change that, putting players in control of Gollum from his time as a slave below the Dark Tower to his stay with the Elves of Mirkwood.
