2016 is now half over and at ComingSoon.net, we have already seen our fair share of great costumes across multiple conventions, including MomoCon, Emerald City Comicon and WonderCon. With hundreds of photos already under our belt, we wanted to start narrowing it down (with your help!) and decide on what has been the best cosplay of the year so far.

Our team has selected the 250 best cosplay photos from our archives and have divided them up into five galleries. All this week, we asked readers to note their favorites. We’re keeping track of everyone’s top choices and narrowing it down to the very best. In the months to come, we’ve got plans to cover cosplay at events like Comic-Con International, Dragon Con and Star Wars Celebration, so, at the end of the year, we’ll run another series of best of galleries and end 2016 with the ultimate cosplay collection.
