The upcoming xianxia C-drama Moonlight Mystique has wrapped filming and is all set to meet viewers very soon. It features Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng in the leading roles. The drama is an adaptation of the novel “Bai Shuo Shang Shen” by Xing Ling. The alternative titles of this drama are Zhu Yue and Chasing the Moon. The original broadcasting network of Moonlight Mystique is iQIYI, and the director is Chu Yui Bun.
Moonlight Mystique follows the love story of Bai Shu (Bai Lu) and Fan Yue (Ao Rui Peng). Bai Shu, the youngest daughter of the General’s mansion, tries to acquire immortality to repay an old debt. She unknowingly saves the powerful demon god Fan Yue. At first, these two strangers despise each other and try to manipulate the other for their gain. But as time passes, they get to know each other better, develop a bond, and eventually fall in love.

Although iQIYI has yet to release a specific release date for the drama, it has been revealed that Moonlight Mystique will meet viewers sometime in 2024. It will release a total of 36 episodes. The drama will be available for streaming on iQIYI.
