Thriller C-drama White Cat Legend has released its tenth episode on February 22, 2024. It follows the genres of mystery, fantasy, and adventure. The drama features Ding Yuxi, Zhou Qi, Ding Jiawen, and Zhang Yicong in the leading roles. The original broadcasting network of the drama is iQIYI. The drama, directed by Wang Wei, is an adaptation of the famous manhwa “Dali Si Rizhi.”
White Cat Legend is a period drama that takes place during the Tang Dynasty. It tells the story of Li Bing (Ding Yuxi), who has been appointed as the Assistant Minister of the temple. At a night banquet, the Empress recognizes his worth and gives him the responsibility to look after the Dali Temple. Following his leadership, a group of temple members allies to uphold justice in the kingdom. They work hard to solve crimes and bring peace to the common people.
In episode ten of White Cat Legend, Li Bing works on Wang Qi (Feng Man)’s dismissal letter. But he is hesitant to go through with it. Cui Bei (Ding Jiawen) visits Li Bing and asks him to reconsider his decision. He tells Li Bing that Wang Qi is an impartial and kind individual and he takes his job seriously. Li Bing promises to consider his words.

Hua Zhi Yi arrives at the prison where the culprit accused of the councilor’s murder is kept. The intruder poisons the guard and sneaks inside. He attacks the culprit and viciously kills him.
Li Bing is not satisfied with the outcome of the councilor’s case. He vows not to rest until he finds out the murderer’s motif. He also thinks that the dossiers the councilor brought back from the ministry of justice, have some sort of connection with his murder. Li Bing also thinks that Yi Zhi Hua and Jiazitou are the same person. He feels restless and anxious to get to the bottom of the mysteries.
In episode ten of White Cat Legend, General Qiu wants to take the prisoner into the custody of the Jinwu Guards. He asks Li Bing to hand over the inmate to him but Li Bing refuses. He says that the judicial court is where the law is and they will do everything in their power to maintain peace in Shendu.
As they continue to argue, a guard gives them the news that the inmate has been found dead. Li Bing finds a letter by the foot of the dead inmate. The handwriting matches with the letter he found earlier outside his room.
Li Bing and General Qiu engage in a heated argument. Li’s father took Qiu in as a little boy after he ran away from the slave camp. Li asks him why he wants to protect the minister of rites even when he is an accused murderer. Meanwhile, a masked assassin attacks them. The assassin is none other than Hua Zhi Yi.
Hua has supernatural powers that allow him to climb walls or run faster than the wind. He attacks Li Bing and tries to force him to transform into his cat avatar. Zhi Yi attempts to kill Li Bing but Qiu interrupts him. He attacks him with arrows. After a long fight, Qiu and Li are finally able to take the culprit down.
White Cat Legend airs from Tuesdays to Sundays. The episodes are available for streaming on iQIYI.
