Re:Monster episode 5 recap: Gobrou saves the elven princess
Re:Monster episode 5, “Re:Ady,” begins with Day 61. In the episode, Gobrou and Gobkichi go hunting and find twelve armed human soldiers in the forest. The two goblins then carefully observe how the humans abduct a royal elf and kill the guarding elves.
Although Gobrou takes no action whatsoever and prevents Gobkichi from acting as well while the humans kill all the elves, he indulges in the fight later. As such, he kills all the humans and saves the royal elf princess.
Gobrou returns the elven princess to her village, earning praise from her father, the elf king. However, Gobrou clarifies that earning praise and doing goodwill were not his motives for helping the princess. The elf king understood his signal and offered to compensate with bow magic.
In exchange, Gobrou held out a hand of friendship to the elf king and gave him important information on the human soldiers. After the two solidify their alliance, Gobrou returns to the goblin cave.
Furthermore, many goblins in the goblin cave undergo evolution. As such, Gobmi evolves into a Damphir variant, while Gobe and others also undergo transformation. With such intricate evolutions, Gobrou declares the formation of the Parabellum Mercenary Company.
