Episode 7 starts with Aoi noticing that something seems to be wrong with Himawari. Himawari is teased for having her head in the clouds as she is asked if it’s a problem with her boyfriend. Her teacher then punishes her for leaving her homework, forcing her to clean the classroom. However, her friends stay back to help her out.

Himawari makes her way home, where her dad and mom greet her. However, she is chased by evil spirits as she looks through the looking glass that she just found. She is led away from home by Ise and Yukino, who are supposedly there to save her.

However, she notices the two are fakes. Aoi and Nue approach her; this prompts a mirror version of herself to begin speaking to her. She tells her the world she was living in was a manifestation of her heart’s darkest desires.

The mirror version told her she was just a burden to Aoi and the others, and they hated her. Despite all that, Himawari chose to believe what she knew in her heart, eventually breaking free from the mirror. The episode ends with her waking back at school, where she is told she has fainted.
