Blue Lock chapter 251 recap

In Blue Lock chapter 251, titled “A Special Seat,” Itoshi Rin and Nijiro Nanase remain the highlighted characters. The chapter resumes the game from where the previous chapter left off. Although Kaiser uses his swiftness to obstruct Rin’s way, the latter outsmarts him and does not lose the ball. After Kaiser’s failed strategy, Rensuke and Ness come together to block Rin’s way. However, they also remain unsuccessful. Then, Rin unexpectedly passes the ball to Nanase.

Amidst the intense on-field action, the chapter takes readers to a flashback wherein Nanase begs to be trained under Rin’s guidance. However, Rin refuses to mentor him, only for Nanase to beg further. The latter’s persistence stems from his desperate desire to stay in the game. Rin finally agrees to train him, eventually discovering that Nanase is ambidextrous, which is useful for soccer players.

Returning to the game, Nanase uses his newly discovered ambidexterity, dribbling past his opponents and receiving a compliment from Rin. Eventually, Isagi and Kaiser team up against Rin, but this results in failure. However, just as Rin is about to launch his goal, Hiori blocks his way.
