Kimi ni Todoke Gets English Dub on Netflix

Exciting news awaits anime enthusiasts as the critically acclaimed Kimi ni Todoke has recently received an English dub for the anime on Netflix. This step ensures that international fans can immerse themselves in the narrative in English, thereby enhancing their experience due to linguistic familiarity. As it is now, viewers can immediately watch the English dub of seasons 1 and 2 of the romantic anime on Netflix.

The anime is adapted from Karuho Shiina’s popular manga, Kimi ni Todoke – From Me to You, featuring the romantic adventures of Sawako Kuronuma, aka Sadako, with Shota Kazehaya.

The manga began serialization in 2006 and ended in November 2017. Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret shōjo magazine published the series, and since then, it has remained a best-seller in Japan. Fans who wish to access the English version of the manga can read it on Viz Media

The story description further states, “But behind her scary façade is a very misunderstood teenager. Too shy to fit in, all she wants to do is make some friends. But when the most popular boy in class befriends her, she’s sure to make more than just that–she’s about to make some enemies too!”

NIS America released Kimi ni Todoke anime on home video, while Netflix premiered the live-action adaptation in March 2023. The streaming platform will also release the much-awaited Kimi ni Todoke season 3 worldwide in 2024. The upcoming installment has been directed by Kenichi Matsuzawa at Production I.G.
