The first episode starts with Yor being on a mission and getting shot. As a result, she gets in a bad mood when she goes back home. Loid misunderstands the entire ordeal and thinks that his reliance on her has finally upset her. To continue their act of being a happy family, he asks her to go on a date.

Loid asks Franky to babysit Anya, but being a curious child, she decides to tail her parents. Yor continues to struggle in pain throughout their entire date, which results in even more misunderstanding.

Surprisingly, their date goes well in the end, despite Anya and Franky following them. The following day, Yor wakes up with the same irritated expression, which makes Loid wonder whether or not he’ll ever be able to understand women. However, the first episode doesn’t go into much detail about Loid’s mission.

Viewers who still haven’t caught up to the series can watch it on Crunchyroll, as both seasons of Spy x Family are available on the platform.
