Touya finds work for the slaves by opening a library and cafe called Moon Reader. Meanwhile, Rebecca and the other adventurers serve as security guards. Touya learns a form of Null magic from Will, which is Gravity. Touya accompanies Yumina to rank up her adventurer level. The two take on a job involving defeating a crab magic beast. At the guild, Prim, one of the employees, asks Touya if he can acquire some books for Moon Reader. Touya agrees to order the books, but Yumina later tells him what the books are about. She also reveals that she knows the author, Rill Rifreese, who is actually Princess Reliel from Refreese Imperium.
Eventually, Yumina and Touya defeat the crab beast. Touya then asks Prim and the other employees about more of their book requests. He goes to the capital of Refreese to order the books. At the shop, Touya encounters a girl who wanted to purchase one of the books that Touya got. She offers to sign some of the books in exchange for the book she wanted, revealing that she’s Princess Reliel. Touya then introduces himself as Yumina’s fiancee and gives Reliel a copy of the book she wanted.
At the library cafe, Touya thanks Will for the Gravity magic and asks if he wants anything. Will says he wants to protect someone, so Touya puts him in training with the knights. Afterward, Elze and Touya head for the bathhouse. Touya gifts Elze an outfit, and she reluctantly accepts. Meanwhile, Reliel writes a new book based on Touya.
