My Wife Has No Emotion Release Date and Cast Unveiled

Tezuka Productions is producing an anime adaptation of My Wife Has No Emotion. Based on Jiro Sugiura’s original work, this rom-com is quite intriguing as it doesn’t feature a normal romance premise.

Recently, the series posted a new update about its development on its official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. The release date has been unveiled along with a brand new key visual, exciting audiences. The production even announced two new voice casts for the series.

The release date for the Wife Has No Emotion anime has finally been revealed. The series will premiere on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. PDT.

In addition a new key visual has been released. It features Mina and Takumi as the main subjects. He hugs the housekeeping robot from behind, a soft smile etched across his face.

Furthermore, two new cast members for My Wife Has No Emotion have been revealed. Yoshino Aoyama, who is popular for playing Hitori Goto or Bocchi from Bocchi the Rock!, will star as Akari Kosugi, the protagonist’s younger sister.

Along with her, Yu Serizawa is joining the crew. She’ll be the voice of Super Mina. The highest variant of Mina from the home appliance robot series is the Super Mina. The staff members described her as a perfectionist.

The plot explores how a lonely salaryman named Takuma grows tired of his monotonous and isolated life. Maintaining a professional life and actively doing household chores every day eventually exhausts him. He decides to buy an expert robot named Mina to keep his house clean.

Takuma jokes about Mina becoming his wife. However, the robot takes him too seriously. A turn of events occurs as both of them start to spend more time together. As the story progresses, he falls in love with a robot, and the series revolves around the challenges our protagonist will face.
