Classroom of the Elite II Episode 3 Recap

Yukimura intervenes in Manabe and the others’ attack. The girls leave, then Karuizawa gets mad at the boys for interrupting. On the third day of the exam, Group Venus finishes. Ayanokoji figures that someone has reported who the VIP is, while Class C is still most likely leading. After that, Karuizawa ends up in a deserted part of the ship, thinking Hirata called her there. To her surprise, Manabe and the others show up, along with Rika, the girl Karuizawa supposedly bullied.

Manabe starts verbally attacking Karuizawa. Karuizawa is visibly scared, and Manabe confirms that Karuizawa was bullied before. Karuizawa tries to run away, and Manabe begins physically attacking her. Manabe also encourages Rika to start slapping Karuizawa. Ayanokoji’s email to Manabe appears to say he also wants to get revenge on Karuizawa. After the girls leave, Ayanokoji approaches Karuizawa. He tells her he knows about her fake relationship and history of bullying. Later, Ayanokoji learns more about Karuizawa’s past and promises to protect her. In exchange, she has to help him with Class D and the special exam.

Before the final discussion, Ayanokoji and Ichinose briefly chat about Class A. It’s possible to reach Class A using 20 million private points. Ayanokoji apologizes for seeing Ichinose’s number of points before, and Ichinose says they shouldn’t discuss it further. As the final discussion begins, Hamaguchi suggests they show each other their phones. To reach a unanimous decision, the group hopes that no one will individually report the VIP’s identity. Yukimura initially hesitates to show his phone before revealing he’s the VIP. The phone suddenly rings, and Ichinose figures out the phone’s original owner is Ayanokoji.

Later on, Karuizawa and Ayanokoji discuss their plan. Ayanokoji figured out Karuizawa was the VIP, so they decided to switch phones and SIM cards. SIM cards are usually locked, but Ayanokoji strikes a deal with Chabashira using his points. In the end, Class C leads the special exam with 100 class points. Ryuen approaches Horikita and threatens Horikita by saying she’s his next target.
