Anime Series You Must Watch if You Liked Strike the Blood

Vampires or any other supernatural genre are very popular among anime fans. There are further sub-genres in this section, such as romance, action, and drama. While there are a lot of series out there, a very well-known series that revolves around vampires is Strike the Blood.

Being a supernatural anime series, Strike the Blood is pretty entertaining. Whether it’s a vampire or any other monster who interacts with humans in the series, audiences are always hyped to watch these interactions. Due to differences between the two, they can be either intense or hilarious. There are many series out there that fit the trope Strike the Blood, so let’s take a look at these series.

1. Daibolik Lovers

Unlike a harem, where women surround a man, Diabolik Lovers features a reverse harem. As a romance series, one could even say that it is perfect for hopeless romantics. It is filled with all the cliche tropes one can expect while watching a Shoujo show.

The series revolves around Yui Komori, a sacrificial bride. As she is meant to fulfill their thirst for blood, being surrounded by handsome vampire men brings a lot of uncontrolled drama. The protagonist is depicted as a damsel in distress, and the show includes a typical human-vampire romantic trope.

2. Beyond the Boundary

The story takes place in a world where humans live alongside supernatural beings called Youmu. It revolves around Akihito Kanbara, who happens to be half human and half Youmu. He stumbles upon a girl named Mirai who can manipulate her own blood. As the series progresses, they realize that they need each other to survive in the world.

3. Call of the Night

Recently released, Call of the Night has become a popular vampire anime. Rather than showing romance between vampires and humans, this series portrays vampires as the enigmatic monsters they are. Instead of romanticizing them, this anime takes a more comedic and urban fantasy sort of approach.

Kou, the protagonist, meets a mysterious girl named Nazuna, who turns out to be a vampire as she drinks his blood at her apartment. Kou must fall in love with Nazuna to become a vampire. This starts a series of weird interactions between these two, and they end up getting in trouble.

4. Rosario + Vampire

Rosario + Vampire is a massively popular vampire romance series. Despite the rather bland storyline, the romance is quite intense. As a harem rom-com, it does a great job of catering to audiences with fan service.

Tsukune goes to a monster high school because he can’t clear the entrance exams of any other institution. He stumbles upon an enigmatic vampire named Moka. She takes a great interest in him because she loves the taste of his blood. Featuring a fair share of bold scenes, this series is quite wholesome as well.

5. The Devil is a Part-Timer

This is another excellent anime where a supernatural being interacts with humans. What makes it hilarious is the fact that Satan, the Demon Lord of Ente Isla, works part-time at a fast food joint to make ends meet.

The story begins when the hero Emilia ruins Satan’s plan to rule over the land of Ente Isla. As he is about to retreat, he uses a dimensional portal, which transports him to modern-day Japan. Determined and persistent, he decides to rise back to power and find a way back to his world. His only motive is to climb up the corporate ladder in this world without magic and become the supreme ruler of humans.
