Variety reports that Star Trek actor John Cho will star in Tigertail, the upcoming Netflix movie from creator Alan Yang (Master of None, Parks and Recreation). Yang will also serve as a producer on Tigertail along with Charles D. King (Mudbound), Kim Roth (Mudbound), and Poppy Hanks (Sorry To Bother You). Executive producers are Peter Pastorelli (Beasts of No Nation) and David Lee (Life of Pi).

Meanwhile, Yang, who won an Emmy for his work on Master of None in 2016, has also created the romantic comedy series Forever, which stars Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, The Happytime Murders) and Fred Armisen (Final Space, Portlandia). The cast also includes Catherine Keener (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), Kym Whitley (Young & Hungry), and Noah Robbins (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt).

Cho is currently starring in Searching, a tech-heavy thriller where he plays a desperate father who tries to find his missing daughter through clues left on online.
