CS Video: Interviews with the IT Cast!

It’s easy to become jaded in these times of glossy, dumb American horror films, but if you need your love of being frightened reinvigorated, the IT remake, directed by Andy Muschietti, will suffice to trigger all the right nerves in your system. Deeply unsettling, disturbing, at times disgusting, and always grotesque, IT is far superior to the television miniseries made of the original Stephen King source material. The director, his producing partner and sister Barbara Muschietti, and the cast of incredibly down-to-earth actors playing the kids are about to step into the legendary pantheon of amazing horror remakes right along with The FlyThe Thing, and The Blob.

ComingSoon.net was able to catch an in-person glimpse of the actors and creators at the official press day in Los Angeles; short but sweet, we believe this is the best horror movie to come along in a while, so we hope you share our excitement at interviewing them.

When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

New Line Cinema‘s IT stars Bill Skarsgård as the story’s central villain, Pennywise the clown. An ensemble of young actors also star in the film, including Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip), Sophia Lillis (37), Finn Wolfhard (TV’s Stranger Things), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chosen Jacobs (upcoming Cops and Robbers), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic). The film opens on September 8.
