CS recently traveled to Florence, Italy, for the Inferno premiere and press junket and today we’re thrilled to reveal our first video conversation. In the player below, Ron Howard himself talks about adapting Brown for a third time and how franchises have changed over the years. He also suggests that Inferno isn’t necessarily the last time we’re going to see him and Hanks team for a Robert Langdon adventure.

Inferno finds famous Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.

Inferno also stars Irrfan Khan (Life of Pi) as Harry Sims (also known as The Provost) and Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen) as Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, the head of the World Health Organization.

Check back soon as we’ll have further interview from Florence, including a conversation with Robert Langdon himself, Tom Hanks.
