THE VELVET VAMPIRE Star Celeste Yarnall Faces Health Crisis; Seeks Help From Fans

Actress and author Celeste Yarnall of THE VELVET VAMPIRE and STAR TREK fame, seeks fan support to fight cancer.

Celeste Yarnall, the actress best-known by genre fans for her appearance on the original STAR TREK (“The Apple”) and in Stephanie Rothman’s cult erotic horror film THE VELVET VAMPIRE, not to mention Eddie Romero’s BEAST OF BLOOD,  has been fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer since November 2014. After undergoing 8 hour surgeries, blood transfusions, and 6 rounds of chemotherapy, she turned to alternative treatments which are not covered by health insurance: a cancer vaccine. These treatments are not only financially exhaustive, but require travel, which is difficult for Yarnall in her current condition.

“I want my journey to help others and bring awareness to this new protocol,” she says about her current treatment plan.

If you’ve ever watched her episode of Star Trek and enjoyed the way she kissed Chekov and kicked butt…

…or grooved to the way she looked when Elvis Presley sang “A Little Less Conversation” to her in LIVE A LITTLE, LOVE A LITTLE…

…or if, like me, you love Yarnall best as the seductive vampire in THE VELVET VAMPIRE (1971)…

…then consider donating to her cancer treatment costs HERE.

“From the bottom of our hearts we thank you,” she continues, “and I will keep you posted every step of the way in hopes that what I share can help even just one person…that makes my pain worthwhile… especially if I can help someone before they have to go through what I have endured at stage 3. .. Maybe this is what is good about cancer…it brings us all together in oneness because everyone has been touched by cancer in some way by someone in their lives… Live Long and Prosper dear friends and know I am here for you too!”

Please spread the word to all the horror, Star Trek, and Elvis fans you know! They could make an impact on her life just by donating what they can.
