A spin on haunted asylum tale
Shock has discovered a trailer for Graystone, a project formerly announced as SecretStone. This is the fictional feature film debut of Sean Stone, son of Oliver Stone. Sean previously dabbled in some short and documentary film work.
A riff on the ol’ “Hey, let’s break into a creepy building” formula (and this looks like it hits a lot of familiar beats), Graystone centers on three filmmaking friends who venture into an abandoned asylum to test their own fundamental beliefs about the supernatural. Once locked and lost inside, they quickly discover that they are not alone and now they are forced to confront their darkest fears.
Sean recruited his pop for a small role; the rest of the cast is rounded out by Sean, Alexander Wraith, Antonella Lentini and Kaila York.
Graystone is on the lookout for distribution. Expect a presence at the American Film Market in November.
