Coppola Returning to Horror for Twixt Now and Sunrise

Bram Stoker’s Dracula director now in post-production

Francis Ford Coppola is sort of doing his own thing with his own money and his own time these days. A Hollywood legend, furthermore, the owner of a lucrative winery, he has the luxury to work outside of the system.

In 2009, he directed Tetro which saw a limited release, now he’s self-financing and in post-production on Twixt Now and Sunrise, a fantasy-horror film. Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, Elle Fanning, David Paymer and Ben Chaplin as “Edgar Allan Poe.”

Dan Deacon is reportedly scoring the picture, says Pitchfork.

Coppola’s last genre jaunt was 1992’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
