Harrison Ford Talks Indiana Jones 5, Offers Young Han Solo Candidates Advice

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuting on digital platforms next week, star Harrison Ford is making the rounds on the talk show circuit to promote the release. On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a brand new behind-the-scenes clip from the special features was played, showing off the filming of Ford’s iconic debut as the character in the film. In addition, Kimmel asked Harrison Ford about returning for Indiana Jones 5, to which he said:

“The opportunity to work with Steven again on this character which has brought pleasure to so many… Not to mention me. It’s fun, it’s great fun to play this character. It’s great fun to work with Steven, I’m looking forward to it.” 

Ford also stopped by Ellen where she brought up the upcoming Young Han Solo movie, and asked if he had any advice for the actor who eventually lands the role.

He replied: “Don’t do it.”

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will debut digitally on April 1 and on DVD and Blu-ray on April 5. You can pre-order your own copy by clicking here. The Young Han Solo movie is still in the process of casting the character but will be directed The LEGO Movie‘s Phil Lord and Chris Miller from a script by father-son duo Lawrence and Jonathan Kasdan. It will be released May 25, 2018.

Indiana Jones 5 was just officially announced last week and will see both Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg return to the franchise. Screenwriter David Koepp is set to pen the script with the movie set for a  July 19, 2019 release date.
