I don’t know just how deep I want to go into reporting on these Marvel TV shows at Netflix, but I guess I’ve covered the upcoming “Daredevil” series enough, what with the recent departure of showrunner Drew Goddard and all, that it seems logical enough to report Charlie Cox (“Boardwalk Empire”) has been cast in the title role.
Cox will star as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer by day and crime-fighting hero by night in the 13-episode drama, of which Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada recently said will be looked at, more or less, “as a very large movie”.
Goddard was replaced by Steven S. DeKnight (“Spartacus”) as showrunner as the first installment in the 13-episode series targets a 2016 premiere. [THR & Latino Review]
