‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Now Rumored to Include Luke, Leia, Han and Their Kids

While the Ewoks were dancing and Luke was looking at the ghost of his father, Obi Wan and Yoda did you ever stop to wonder what it would be like for the Jedi knight, his smuggler buddy and sister down the road? The Empire has fallen, blown to pieces by the rebels, and times are good. A sister has come to the terms with the fact Luke is her brother and she will settle for Han. Maybe we could go back to Jabba’s lair and pick up a little of what he was smoking and keep this party going for another week or so.

Well, if rumors mean anything, you may be getting more Han, Luke and Leia as Roger Friedman at Showbiz411 reports not only Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Han Solo, but Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will return as sister and brother, Luke and Leia for the J.J. Abrams-directed Star Wars: Episode VII.

Friedman also reports the story will pick up some time in the future, after the events of Return of the Jedi, Luke will be a lot older and the children of the three protagonists will be the stars.

This story matches up with what Dale Pollock, author of the unauthorized “Skywalking: The Life And Films Of George Lucas”, told The Wrap last October, when he said the original vision for a 12-film saga included an older Luke, but whether or not the actual stories match up is unknown. Of course, there is no official word as yet.
