I saw Woody Allen’s latest film, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, at Cannes and gave it a slightly above average review, which pretty much seemed to be the reaction from just about everyone I talked to at the festival. Of all things, it just sort of forgot to bring the funny and ends up being a “meh” effort. Yet, general audiences still have a while to wait for its release as Sony Pictures Classics will distribute it in theaters on September 23 and today the studio has released 21 additional images from the feature.
Above you see Lucy Punch, who plays Anthony Hopkins’s young prostitute of a wife as he is doing everything he can to regain his youth after dumping his wife, Helena (Gemma Jones). The film also stars Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts, Freida Pinto and Antonio Banderas in a story of failed relationships.
Of course, perhaps this isn’t the best news to get you interested in browsing the new gallery of images, but I have to tell it like it is.
