Apple TV+ has officially released the first trailer for Ted Lasso Season 4, marking the hit comedy series’ return after a three-year hiatus. While many viewers considered Season 3 to be the show’s final chapter, the upcoming ten-episode season reignites the story with Jason Sudeikis reprising his role as the beloved American coach.
Instead of picking up the story where Season 3 left off, the new season follows Ted’s return to Richmond to coach a second-division women’s football team. According to the official synopsis, “Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
Season 4 also reunites fan-favorite cast members, including Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. The cast is joined by newcomers Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.
Behind the scenes, Jason Sudeikis returns as an executive producer alongside Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Brett Goldstein also rejoins the team as a writer and executive producer, while series co-creator Bill Lawrence continues to oversee production through Doozer Productions.
