Spider-Man 4 star Tom Holland has given a promising update on Venom‘s MCU arrival. The popular actor will be seen reprising his iconic role of Peter Parker in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie.
What did Tom Holland say about Venom coming to the MCU?
Ever since Tom Hardy’s Eddie or Venom showed up in live-action in the original movie from 2018, fans have been eager to see him share screen time with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU.
In 2021, one of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s post-credits scenes did establish that Venom was in the MCU, momentarily, before being transported back to his own Spider-Verse. At the moment, he is yet to cross paths with Holland’s Peter Parker. And fans are really curious to know more about when Peter will get to wear the Symbiote suit.
During a recent interaction with young fans, Holland was asked if Peter would encounter the Symbiote. He simply replied, “One day, I’m sure.”
“We’ll get to see the Symbiote,” added Holland, reports IGN.
Marvel has yet to confirm any update on when Venom will exactly show up in a scene with Spider-Man in the MCU. It appears ardent fans will have to wait for some time until that happens.
As for Holland’s Spider-Man, he will appear in Brand New Day next week. The fourth solo installment featuring Holland’s Peter Parker is helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
Spider-Man 4 features an ensemble cast, including Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner or Hulk, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle or The Punisher.
Sadie Sink will also make her MCU debut with this movie, but her role has yet to be disclosed. Several rumors have suggested that she might be playing iconic X-Men character Jean Grey. However, Marvel hasn’t confirmed anything about her role so far.
Other cast members in the film include Michael Mando, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Marvin ‘Krondon’ Jones III.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day releases in theaters on July 31, 2026.
