Ketchup Entertainment has released its payoff trailer for Coyote vs. Acme, ahead of its theatrical release next month. Apart from the new trailer, the studio announced that the movie will receive its first-ever public screening in San Diego on Saturday, July 25. Fans can grab movie tickets at coyotevsacme.com.

The new trailer shows Wile E. Coyote as he decides to sue the Acme Corporation for repeatedly giving him faulty products that fail to help him catch Road Runner. He teams up with a billboard lawyer, Kevin Avery (Will Forte), and Paige Avery (Lana Condor) to file a lawsuit against the corporation. Standing in their way is Buddy Crane (John Cena), Acme’s most confident corporate lawyer.

After realizing the threat to the company, Buddy meets with Coyote and Kevin and offers them a huge paycheck to drop the case. However, Coyote is not interested, and he burns it instead. Shocked to see that, Buddy says he doesn’t find Looney Tunes as funny as they seem.

As the story unfolds, Coyote and Kevin continue their legal battle accompanied by other Tunes characters. Meanwhile, Buddy uses everything in his power to stop them from winning. The trailer also hints at his growing frustration with the Looney Tunes as the courtroom showdown becomes more chaotic.

Coyote vs Acme is directed by Dave Green from a screenplay by Samy Burch. James Gunn, Jeremy Slater, and Burch have written the script, while James also serves as a producer alongside Chris DeFaria.

Coyote vs. Acme will release in theaters on August 28, 2026.
