One of Apple TV’s best sci-fi series just lost its crown to a brand-new thriller. The streaming platform’s latest charts reveal a surprising shakeup between two major shows.
Anya Taylor-Joy’s Lucky tops Silo on Apple TV streaming charts
Apple TV’s streaming charts reveal that Lucky has overtaken Silo in the United States rankings. FlixPatrol data from July 16, 2026, shows Lucky debuting at the top of Apple TV’s TV shows chart. Silo, meanwhile, dropped to the second position after Lucky’s arrival.
Lucky premiered on Apple TV on July 15, 2026, with its first two episodes available immediately. The crime thriller miniseries stars Anya Taylor-Joy as a con artist forced to go on the run. Additionally, Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor also star in the seven-episode series. Jonathan Tropper created the show, which is based on Marissa Stapley’s 2021 novel of the same name. Furthermore, Reese Witherspoon executive produces through her Hello Sunshine banner alongside Tropper and Taylor-Joy.
Rotten Tomatoes currently gives Lucky a 78% approval rating based on 45 reviews. The show also holds an average score of 6.9 out of 10 from rated reviews. Meanwhile, Metacritic assigns it a score of 66 out of 100 based on 23 critics.
Silo, on the other hand, continues to enjoy stronger critical reception in its third season. Notably, Silo Season 3 holds a perfect 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 27 reviews. Its average rating stands at 8.1 out of 10, significantly higher than Lucky’s score. The Rebecca Ferguson-led series premiered its third season on July 3, 2026.
Silo had held the number one spot on Apple TV’s overall chart from Amazon Channels before Lucky’s debut. The sci-fi series previously occupied the second position on the platform’s TV shows ranking. As a result, Lucky now claims the top overall position from Amazon Channels as well. Silo has already been renewed for a fourth and final season.
Both shows release new episodes weekly throughout the summer on Apple TV.
