British singer-songwriter and record producer PinkPantheress will make her acting debut in a movie opposite a major cast member of The Odyssey. Originally from Canterbury, Kent, England, PinkPantheress has been active in the music industry since the late 2010s. She has received multiple Grammy nods, and her debut studio album, Heaven Knows, found success following its release in 2023.
PinkPanthress lands role in Daniels’ next film alongside Matt Damon
PinkPanthress will star opposite Matt Damon in a secret film from Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as the Daniels, the directors of the 2022 Oscar-winning feature Everything Everywhere All at Once (via Deadline). She joins the growing cast that also includes Sandra Oh, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Charles Melton, Jackson Kelly, Michael Gandolfini, Kerrice Brooks, and Thalia Dudek.
Much about the movie remains strictly under wraps. However, it has an expansive younger cast, which now includes PinkPanthress, 25. So, we can assume that the sci-fi film can devote a considerable portion of its narrative to them.
Although she has been working in the music industry since 2019, PinkPanthress, whose birth name is Victoria Beverley Walker, began to garner popularity in early 2021 after her songs “Break It Off” and “Pain” became viral on TikTok.
She released her first mixtape, To Hell with It, in October 2021 through Parlophone and Elektra record labels. In 2025, PinkPanthress put out Fancy That, her second mixtape. Besides the Grammy nods, PinkPanthress has received an American Music Award and a Brit Award.
Everything Everywhere All at Once was the Daniels’ second movie as collaborators after 2016’s Swiss Army Man, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Dano, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. It was a critical and commercial success and won seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.
The upcoming untitled film marks the directing duo’s first feature following the iconic absurdist drama’s historic success. The movie debuts in US theaters on November 19, 2027.
