2016’s Keeping Up With the Joneses isn’t the most well-remembered action comedy. However, its stellar cast of Zach Galifianakis, Isla Fisher, Jon Hamm, and Gal Gadot helps make it easy to revisit. For fans, the Keeping Up With the Joneses 4K proves to be the best way to rewatch the film

Directed by Greg Mottola, the film doesn’t quite reach the highs of his best efforts like the all-timer comedy Superbad and the more recent Confess, Fletch. Keeping Up With the Joneses isn’t a bad movie, as its leads are consistently likable, and there are a few sequences — like Patton Oswalt’s introduction — that stick out. However, the script isn’t consistent enough, with true laughs coming rarely, and even talented comedic actors like Galifianakis, Fisher, and Hamm can’t elevate the material that much.
The Keeping Up With the Joneses 4K release looks good, with its UHD disc looking crisp. Certain standout moments, such as the Asian market scene, look great in 4K, for example. The audio also impresses, with its DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 track sounding great.
The Keeping Up With the Joneses 4K disc doesn’t have any bonus features on it, but they can be found on the corresponding Blu-ray disc. These include 18 minutes of deleted scenes, some of which are certainly more fun than others, a 12-minute look at the making of the film, plus a five-minute video about filming in Atlanta and a photo gallery.
Keeping Up With the Joneses 4K Review: Final Verdict
While it’s not one of the best action comedy movies ever made, the Keeping Up With the Joneses 4K is a great way to revisit the 2016 movie. Fans of its charming stars will certainly want to check it out, and it’s an easy rewatch.
