Is Tell Me Lies Season 3 really the last one and why?
Yes, Tell Me Lies Season 3 serves as the final chapter of the series.
Showrunner Oppenheimer revealed that she and the writing team always intended to conclude the series with the ending that the latest season received. Ahead of the series finale, Oppenheimer took to Instagram to confirm that Tell Me Lies Season 3 is the last part of the series.
She said, “After three amazing seasons of Tell Me Lies, tonight’s episode will be the series finale. This was always the ending my writing team and I had in mind, and we are insanely proud of it.”
Citing the reason why they believed it to be the correct time to conclude the show, she added, “Your incredible response to this season inspired us to explore whether there was another organic way to continue the story, but ultimately we felt it had reached its natural conclusion.” She further shared that her main aim was always to give fans “the best experience” and “protect the quality of the show.”
While she’s admitted that it might be sad to hear about the show’s conclusion, she’s happy that they were able to present a “complete story with an intentional ending,” which she believes is a “privilege.” Expressing her gratitude, Oppenheimer further said, “Thank you for loving our show. We are excited to bring you more stories in the near future.”
