Tell Me Lies Season 3 was the final chapter, and the series won’t be renewed further, as announced by showrunner Oppenheimer.
Oppenheimer took to Instagram to announce that Tell Me Lies Season 3 will serve as the series’s conclusion, also sharing the reasoning behind the decision. She wrote, “After three amazing seasons of Tell Me Lies, tonight’s episode will be the series finale. This was always the ending my writing team and I had in mind, and we are insanely proud of it. Your incredible response to this season inspired us to explore whether there was another organic way to continue the story, but ultimately we felt it had reached its natural conclusion.”
She added that she had always intended to protect the quality of the show and deliver the best possible experience for fans. While she acknowledged that it would be sad to see the series end, she said she was grateful they were able to present a “complete story with an intentional ending,” which she considers a privilege. Expressing her gratitude, she further added, “Thank you for loving our show. We are excited to bring you more stories in the near future.”
The series finale titled “Are You Happy Now, That I’m on My Knees?” premiered on February 17, 2026. It featured a scandal that takes center stage at Baird College. When the truth emerges, the consequences begin to impact everyone around.
