With fans eagerly awaiting the release of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, showrunner Dario Scardapane has provided a promising filming and release date update for the second season. The veteran television producer recently took to social media to update fans on the progress of the second season’s filming, reaffirming details about the sequel’s premiere schedule.
Dario Scardapane confirms Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has wrapped filming
On July 9, Dario Scardapane posted a picture of a bobble-head figurine of himself, presumably gifted to him by Michael Shaw and Daredevil: Born Again’s art department, through his Instagram account. He also added a detailed caption that confirmed that filming on Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has officially wrapped, implying that the upcoming season will be able to meet its scheduled release date window.
In the post, Scardapane wrote, “And that is a WRAP on Season 2 of Daredevil Born Again. Thank you to all who made this something truly special.” He then expressed gratitude to the cast and crew of the upcoming season, thanking many of them by name in his lengthy caption. He reiterated his admiration for the team at the end of his message by saying, “Best Cast Ever. Best Crew Ever.”
Shortly after Daredevil: Born Again finished airing its first season on Disney+, Scardapane announced that Season 2 will have a March 2026 release date. Production on the second season began in February 2025 and was scheduled to be completed in July. Scardapane’s recent update confirms that Born Again Season 2 is successfully following this schedule at the time of writing and will most likely be able to make its release date window.
However, despite the exciting updates regarding the filming of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Marvel Studios has yet to confirm the exact premiere date for the second season.
